Modeling for painters and photographers is one of my primary creative outlets along with writing. My amazing collaborator Mim Art and I performed an amazing 5 hour photo ritual in honor of the Queen of Clubs for her "52 Pick Up" art series. We both shot and modeled for this photo series which was a celebration of the feminine divine sexuality, luxury, and manifesting prosperity. "We planned the shoot to coincide with my trip to the Bay Area in March. My suitcase was packed with jars of gold body powder and glitter, swathes of gold fabric and lingerie, a bellydancing hip belt covered in gold coins, and a pair of gold glitter encrusted stiletto heels I had purchased especially for the shoot. We stopped by the Farmer’s Market for jars of local honey, pastries glistening with glazed fruit and caramelized sugar, bright calendula blossoms and tulips, and mandarin oranges so fresh that the green stems and leaves were still sprouting from the fruit." -Bianca James
